By now you have reached this site because you have seen or heard about BowlFit and are wondering what the hype is all about. I created this site, because for far too long people underestimated the importance of training off the lanes to compete in our sport. My goals of BowlFit are:

  1. Make bowlers aware of what we are repetitively doing to our body, and how we can avoid injuries.
  2. To provide bowlers with training programs just like I would any other athlete; something functional that will help them move better and feel better and possibly even improve their performance.

I see far too many injuries that shouldn’t occur, even in our youth! As more of the bowling industry has taken an interest in becoming fit so we can compete in our sport for years to come, I wanted to bring SMART training programs to bowlers. There are tons of fitness programs that you can try and usually something is going to be better than doing nothing. I wanted to provide programs for the bowling community that I know will help reduce the likelihood of injuries and help them train in a safe and effective way. The goals of many fitness programs out there are usually centered around physique/aesthetics while my programs are going to be focused on improvement movement patterns and minimizing dysfunction. A bowler is an athlete and unless you are also planning on competing in a body building show the goals of our training should be the same as other athletes in which movement efficiency is key.

My programs focus on:

  1. Mobility
  2. Injury Prevention
  3. Reducing Asymmetries and Dysfunction
  4. Functional Strength
